Students who are interested in attending Georgia Tech University typically wonder how they will fund the cost of a college degree. These students might not realize that there are actually a variety of ways that they can get some free money for college. One of the best ways to begin exploring college scholarships is to fill out the FAFSA application as early as possible. This form will tell you whether you have qualified for any federal or student financial aid. In addition to completing the FAFSA form, students may want to also explore the scholarships that are offered exclusively to Georgia Tech students. Check out the list below for a small selection of these scholarships:
Stamps President’s Scholars Program: This scholarship is one of the best awards offered by Georgia Tech. It provides recipients with complete tuition remission for up to four years. Every year, there are about 40 students who are selected to receive this scholarship. The number of students selected includes both residents of GA and residents from other states. As part of the application process, students are required to demonstrate that they understand that the scholarship is actually an investment in their future rather than a reward for previous work. In order to apply, students must simply apply to Georgia Tech prior to the Oct. 15th deadline. All students who apply will be automatically considered for this scholarship. Students who are interested in applying should make sure to write an excellent essay, fully describe their extracurricular activities, and read the additional information about this scholarship, which can be found here.
