College and high school students are often very busy and over-extended. It can be challenging for these students to balance academics, extra-curricular involvement, work, and family demands. When does a student have time to fill out lengthy application forms? Time and complexity of scholarships are something that many students take into account when deciding whether or not to apply for awards. However, applying to scholarships does not need to be a tedious process. The below scholarships represent some of the simplest scholarships available to high school seniors and college students:

ASFA High School Scholarship

ASFA High School Scholarship: How does $2,000 sound? If you could use $2,000 to help fund your college education, then read on. For this scholarships, students need to read some information online about fire sprinklers. Then, they register for a free account and take a brief quiz on what they read. Any high school senior who plans to attend college is eligible to receive one of the ten scholarships. All applicants must apply prior to the April 6th deadline.

Courage to Grow Scholarship

Courage to Grow Scholarship: Forget the lengthy essays! This application only requires students to write a 250-word paragraph on why they deserve to win this award. Each month, one student is given a $500 scholarship to help defray the cost of their college education. This award is open to current college students as well as students who are in their last two years of high school. All applicants must hold at least a 2.5 grade point average.

“No Essay” College Scholarship: This award provides $2,000 to high school and college students. In order to be eligible, students must complete a brief form with demographic information pertaining to their education. Winners are randomly chosen and the chances of winning depend on the number of entries received. However, each month a new winner is picked, so you can submit one application per month to increase your chances of winning.

Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway

Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway: This scholarship is a favorite among students who like social media! Students can win a number of different awards, most of which range in value from $1,000-$10,000. To start the process, students must write a brief bio about themselves using 350 characters or less. In the next step, you have to share your link with your friends and get them to vote for you. After each round, the student with the most votes wins! Only students between 18-24 are eligible to apply and there is no set deadline. In order to maximize your chances of winning, think creatively about your bio!

U.S. Bank Scholarship

U.S. Bank Scholarship: The U.S. Bank awards scholarships that range from $1,000 to $5,000. For the $1,000 scholarships, students must be high school seniors or current college students. These applicants simply complete a brief form with demographic information. In order to be eligible for the $5,000 award, students must complete an online course about financial literacy. All students who complete the module are entered into a drawing and winners are also randomly chosen for this award. Other than being a U.S. citizen and a high school or college student, there are no other requirements!
